Indonesia has a total of 99,093 kilometers of coastline.

Indonesia has a total of 13,466 islands, and home of 14 percent of the world’s coral reef and also home of 27 percent of the world’s mangrove forests.

In terms of fishery, Indonesia controls 25 percent of the world’s fish population and is included as a country with the mega marine biodiversity with its 8,500 species of fish, 555 species of seaweed, and 950 species of coral reef.
