Indonesia will host the WB-IMF meeting in 2018

TEMPO.COJakarta – Indonesian Government has prepared a Rp1 trillion budget for the annual World Bank-International Monetary Fund (WB-IMF) that will be held in Nusa Dua, Bali next year.

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution says that the budget, which comes from the State Budget (APBN), is mainly to fund the event’s infrastructure.

“Most of it will be spent to construct underpasses and public roads,” he said Wednesday, May 3.

After following a long selection process, Indonesia will host the WB-IMF meeting in 2018. The meeting will be held in three days from October 12 – October 14.

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Panjaitan will be the leader of the event’s preparation.
