 Government plans to privatize 15 state-owned firms this year

JAKARTA (Antara): The government will put 15 state firms in its privatization plan this year, a minister said Tuesday.

Among the firms under the planned privatization are Jasa Marga, BNI, Wijaya Karya, Garuda Indonesia, Merpati Nusantara, and Permodalan Nasional Madani, State Minister for State Enterprises Sugiharto said.

The privatization committee has also suggested the government to delay the privatization of BTN, Krakatau Steel, Dirgantara Indonesia, Kertas Padalarang and other five state-owned firms.(***)
