Where can the mining area reservation be done?
The mining area reservation is the reserved area which might contain mineral resources and is still a free so it can be requested as Authorised Mining Area (KP), Contract of Work (KK) or Coal Contract of Work (KKB). To make a mining area reservation, applicants have to come direct to the Mining Area Reservation and Information Service Unit (UPIPWP).

Location of the requested area must have clear co-ordinates (in diagonal form ) in accordance with the determined regulations.

How wide an area can be requested as a reserved area?
The maximum limit of the requested area depends on the type of activity and is according to current regulations. Where the requested area overlaps with other mining areas then the applicants can identify the available area during service time.

Is there any time limit for area reservation?
For the area reservation, applicants are given a time limit of not later than 5 working days to fulfil the determined requirements. If applicants cannot fulfil the requirements during the given time limit then the reserved area belongs free and is open to the public.

How much does it cost to reserve the mining area?
The cost for the reservation which has to paid by the applicants is determined by the current regulstions.
