INDONESIA TO HOST ASIAN BANK SUMMIT

Jakarta, Mar 18 (Prensa Latina) Indonesia will host the 2007 Asian Bank Summit March 25-28 at the Shangri-La Hotel in this capital.
In the annual meeting, established eight years ago, experts will analyze several issues like information technology and technological operations, administrative risks, and corporate management.
They are also expected to exchange viewpoints and ideas on world financial services, and interest and monetary rates.
Indonesian bank authorities will provide participants with a report on the country´s prospects in financial and industrial services, ANTARA news agency said.
The summit will be open by the manager of Indonesia´s Central Bank, Burhanuddin Abdullah, and presided over by William Seidman, former chairman of the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
